New Trustee Appointed to the Dick Harrison Trust

Matthew Wallace has been appointed as a Trustee of the Dick Harrison Trust. 

Born and raised on an upland farm on the Northumberland and Cumbria border, Matthew developed a strong interest in agriculture and rural land management from an early age. In 2010 and 2011, he was fortunate to receive support from the Dick Harrison Trust, which helped him to pursue his studies and develop his career within the rural sector.

Matthew went studied Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams University in Shropshire, graduating in 2014. Following this, he qualified with both the RICS and the CAAV and began his professional career as a Rural Chartered Surveyor.

Matthew practised as a Rural Chartered Surveyor with H&H Land & Estates before moving to YoungsRPS, where he continued to develop his experience in land agency and professional practice. In 2023, he joined HSBC UK Plc as an Agricultural Relationship Manager, covering North East England, supporting farming and rural businesses with their financial and strategic needs.
